A cashless claim allows you to get your vehicle or medical treatment done at a network provider without paying upfront. The insurance company settles the bill directly with the hospital or garage.

Contact your insurance company immediately and provide details of the accident. Submit necessary documents such as FIR (if needed), photographs, policy details, and ID proof. An assessor will inspect and guide you further.

You typically need the claim form, discharge summary, bills, prescriptions, investigation reports, and ID proof. In case of a planned hospitalization, pre-authorization may also be needed.

Premium is calculated based on factors like car make/model, engine capacity, location, IDV (Insured Declared Value), age of the car, and add-ons selected. Personal accident and third-party liabilities also affect the premium.

NCB is a reward given by insurers for not making any claims in a policy year. It results in a discount on your renewal premium and can go up to 50% over time. It is also transferable if you switch insurers.
